History
Hall Aluminum Products was started back in 1954 by
Rich Hall. He started as a window contractor working on steel
windows in churches. In the 1960's, Stan Fredricks purchased
the company. Stan continued the window installation/repair
business along with selling for a few window and extrusion
manufacturers.
The passing of Stan Fredricks in early 1998 left
his widow with the company, who then sold it to our current Owner and
President, Joe Schwieterman (pronounced:
Shweeterman). Joe is a
graduate of Purdue University - graduating with a degree in their
highly honored Project Management program.
Under the professional leadership of Joe
Schwieterman the company enjoyed tremendous growth over the next three
years. In 2001, he moved the business from it's
original 900 s.f. location, on Pontiac Street in Fort Wayne, IN, to it's current
facility at 5402 Moeller Rd in Fort Wayne. The current
facilities now consist of over 30,000 s.f. of fabrication, warehousing,
and corporate offices.
Our people make the difference!
With several
project managers, salespeople, fabrication & warehouse manager,
field superintendent, a Controller/IT Director, Administrative
Assistant, the top glass and glazing people in the area, and our own
in-house engineering/CAD Design department, Hall Aluminum has the
knowledge, experience, and organization to bring any size project to fruition with
ease.
Hall's 30,000sf fabrication and warehouse facilities consist
of multiple cutting tables, saw assembly lines, punch presses, glass
tables, and
many other operations. We utilize over 50 professional
glaziers, 15 trucks/vans, and 7 - 48' semi-trailers to handle
glazing projects of all sizes and industries.
Our projects consist of everything from single
window and door repairs and replacements to million dollar plus
window/door/curtainwall contracts. A majority of work we do
involves bid spec projects, but we also work on many design/build
projects where
we offer the contractor very
competitive bids along with detailed drawings - if needed.
We take the conceptual drawings and
produce an accurate
bid, including "all" of the necessary products to ensure a
complete bid. We always
check local codes, wind load requirements, and so on - to ensure
that the owner is
getting the right products for the given situation and the GC is
assured that the codes are covered.
Hall also offers help to contractors in
early design stages on Design-Builds to get value added engineering
ideas and much closer budget numbers then they might be able to come up
with on their own.
Hall Aluminum Products has the knowledge, organization, and
teams to offer the
best possible solutions in architectural glass and glazing, curtain
wall, wall panels, aluminum windows, and aluminum doors to keep your
project schedules and costs
"on track".
To make this happen we offer:
